Final Policy Institute will host a virtual budget briefing on Thursday, February 19,  at noon, analyzing  New York's fiscal and economic outlooks, federal cuts, universal childcare, foundation aid, Medicaid and SNAP after the OBBBA, and the New York City budget.

FPI's annual Albany briefing on the governor's executive budget will be held on Wednesday, February 26th from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The event will be held in-person in Meeting Room 5 at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center. The FPI team will present its analysis of the executive budget as well FPI policy recommendations for this year's budget, including: revenue and spending trends, tax policy recommendations, analysis of public school funding changes and Medicaid spending, and recommendations on pro-affordability policy measures.   Register here
